Spring 2021
It’s been one of those weeks when I realize how fast time is moving. I’m trying to figure out how to slow it down or at least remember more of it. I used to think it was my wine intake that was leading to my poor memory, but based on the highly scientific test I’ve run this past week (aka reduce aforementioned wine intake), I don’t think that’s it.
I decided to try to enjoy the season I’m in and get from it all that I can - make sure I soak it all in.
Warmer weather is something I’d typically say “oh good, it’s warmer outside” and then go back to my regularly scheduled programming. This year I looked for ways to celebrate winter coming to an end (Hopefully. Sometimes, Mother Nature is a bit like a recovering addict and relapses early March, but I’m hoping she holds it together).
Here are 3 ways I’ve celebrated the hint of spring we’ve had this past week.

Greenery
Check out my Reel on Instagram (@honeywooddecor) to see all of the ways I incorporated both live and faux plants into my my home.

Spring Wreath
I’m gonna be honest. I loved the result of the wreath but I did not enjoy making it. If you think you want to make a wreath, don’t. If you do, wear gloves. If you wear gloves, prepare for it to find a different way to attack you because clearly this was originally a happy pile of sticks in the woods. Someone came along, kidnapped them, and forced them into a circle that they have no interest in being. And despite the fact you are a mere, unsuspecting Michael’s customer, they woke up and chose violence today so you will be their next victim.
