Plus-Size Baby Wearing
Wrap Style Baby Carrier: The box contains a long piece of fabric, like a scarf for a giraffe. With a couple of diagrams, you’re expected to origami the giraffe scarf around your body in a fashion secure enough to support a baby. By the end of it, you’ve lost your sanity and the will to carry your baby. You will place your baby on the kitchen floor, stuff the scarf back in the box, and pour a glass of wine.

What we chose
Before having a baby, I thought baby wearing was weird. Like why can’t you just put the baby down and go do the chores you need done? Or why not just use a stroller while you’re out shopping. Let’s add this to one of the top 10 ways I was humbled after having a baby…
Over the first several months, we went through a few failed attempts at baby wearing. I still really wanted to be able to carry him while keeping my hands free, but the wrap style was not working for us.
I measured my waist
I looked online for various baby carrying contraptions taking note of the measurements
I found one that extends 60 inches at the waist *Add to Cart*

Why I like it
It feels like wearing a backpack on the front of my body, and it meets my goals:
Gives me confidence my baby won’t fall out
Comfortable around my waist, even if I sit down for a minute.
Accommodates my boobs
Allows me to carry my son around when he wants to be with me, but I need my hands free for activities
